I’ll be leaving the University at the end of August when I wrap up teaching my final class. I will be returning to two things I love and have done multiple times in the past - building another startup and getting back in the Venture Capital game.

I am starting a Venture Fund that will be based in Austin and focus on all stages and industries in the Texas market. The fund formation will happen this fall when investing will also start, and I will continue to be actively involved with Texas Venture Labs and the other programs I have started or been active in at McCombs.
