A new video has just been released on the McCombs MSTC Program at the University of Texas at Austin featuring senior lecturer Rob Adams Ph.D. The M.S. in Technology Commercialization (MSTC) is a one-year master's degree program focused on technology, business, and innovation. Graduates of the MSTC have gone on to found numerous successful start up companies, including Draft App, Flipped Health, Seismos, and Datical.
The Texas MSTC Program is taught by top-ranked McCombs School of Business faculty, and focuses on experiential learning designed to teach the skill set necessary to compete in a global economy. Launched in 1996 out of the IC2 Institute, the Texas MSTC Program combines cutting-edge technology, hands-on entrepreneurship, and world-class education, resulting in the creation of innovative ventures and products.
The hands-on, real-world approach teaches students to hone their entrepreneurial prowess, allowing them to identify and evaluate technologies with market potential, develop and present business plans and profitably launch innovative products into the market.
